On 4 February 2026, the Almaly District Council of Veterans held a meeting with young people at the Zhambyl Library, with the participation of creative groups and schoolchildren. The meeting took place in an atmosphere of spiritual unity of the generations and was filled with musical numbers by young performers, who presented their creative performances with particular inspiration.
The event was timed to coincide with the anniversary of the birth of the outstanding lyric poet Mukagali Makatayev. During the meeting, his heartfelt works were read, distinguished by their deeply national character, sincerity, and special lyricism. The poetry of Mukagali Makatayev is not only an artistic legacy but also a spiritual compass for the rising generation. Particular emphasis was placed on the patriotic education of young people. Through the poet's work, the participants of the event touched upon eternal values — love for the Motherland, respect for the history and culture of one's people, and reverence for the older generation. Such meetings contribute to continuity between generations, the strengthening of civic position, and the upbringing of young people in the spirit of patriotism, morality, and devotion to their native land.
