On 27 March 2026, a meeting with pensioners of the Auezov district was held in the building of the Social Services Center, with the participation of S.Sh. Kurmangaliyev, Deputy Chairman of the Almaty City Council of Veterans.
During the event, those present were informed about the social support measures currently in effect, and changes in the social security of older citizens were reviewed. Issues of preferential provision and the delivery of social assistance were addressed separately.
The meeting was attended by B.S. Ibrayeva, Chairwoman of the Auezov District Council of Veterans; members of the presidium; A.A. Adambayeva, head of the public development department of the district Akim's office; G.A. Kushpanova, chief inspector of the employment and social programs department; as well as representatives of the Center's activists.
The event took place in a businesslike atmosphere with a discussion of topical issues. The participants raised a number of questions and proposals, on which appropriate explanations were given.
At the close of the meeting, the results were summed up, and the importance of further cooperation on the social support of pensioners was noted.
