On 13 April 2026, a meeting was held at the Active Longevity Center of the Ainabulak microdistrict between the Deputy Chairman of the Almaty City Council of Veterans, S.Sh. Kurmangaliev, and pensioners of the Zhetysu District. The event was aimed at familiarizing representatives of the older generation with the current forms of state social support, as well as at discussing current issues of social security. During the meeting, participants received detailed information on the priorities of state policy in the social sphere.
B.K. Kudysheva, Head of the Active Longevity Center of the Zhetysu District, took part in the event. In total, 31 participants were present.
The meeting took place in a warm, friendly, and trusting atmosphere. Participants noted that care for veterans has become an integral part of Kazakhstan's national idea.
At the end of the meeting, participants were given informational materials and commemorative notebooks, and exhaustive explanations were provided in response to all questions received.
On 11 April 2026, activists of the Zhetysu District took part in a solemn flower-laying ceremony dedicated to the International Day of Liberation of Prisoners of Fascist Camps. The event was organized by the city and district councils of veterans and became a tribute of remembrance and respect to all who endured severe hardships.
