On 17 April 2026, a meeting of students with veterans of the Auezov District took place at Almaty State Pedagogical College No. 2. The theme of the event was “Responsible Generation – Strong Kazakhstan.” Before the start of the event, participants honored the memory of those who died during the war years with a minute of silence.
The event was attended by: B.A. Almukhambetov, member of the Council of Veterans of the City of Almaty and Chairman of the city commission on the patriotic and moral education of youth; B.S. Ibraeva, Chairwoman of the Auezov District Council of Veterans; B. Duanabaeva, director of the college; and veteran activists.
During the meeting, students asked questions on various topics and received detailed answers. Such events are of great importance, as they help strengthen continuity between generations and foster in young people respect for the life path of strong, courageous, and professional people who made a significant contribution to the formation and development of our country, as well as to ensuring its independence at various stages of history.
Such meetings play an important role in the patriotic and spiritual and moral education of Kazakhstan's youth — the future creators and defenders who work for the prosperity of our Motherland.
