On 22 May 2026, a regular meeting of the Presidium of the Auezov District Council of Veterans was held. Under the first item, the results of the work on preparing and holding the festive events dedicated to Victory Day were summed up. Particular attention was paid to patriotic events, meetings with veterans and home front workers, and the participation of the Council's representatives in commemorative and festive events in the district.
The need to continue work on preserving historical memory, educating the younger generation, and maintaining close cooperation with veterans' organizations and the public was noted.
In considering the second item, the participants analyzed the activities of the public commissions, discussed the results of the work done, and outlined the main tasks for the coming period. The importance of the active participation of commission members in resolving issues within their sphere of activity, as well as of the timely completion of planned activities, was emphasized.
Following the discussion, the corresponding instructions were given and further areas of work were defined.
