On 26 May 2026, a meeting was held at the Active Longevity Center between the Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of the Almaty City Council of Veterans, N.M. Tokmoldaev, and pensioners of the Nauryzbay District.
During the event, participants were given information on the current measures of state support, and the latest changes in the field of social security for older citizens were explained. Particular attention was paid to pension provision, benefits, and social assistance. A.B. Abdykalikova, Chief Specialist of the Center for Employment and Social Programs, gave detailed explanations and answered all the questions received.
The Chairman of the Nauryzbay District Council of Veterans, M.T. Karkenov, noted the importance of holding such meetings, emphasizing the importance of constant interaction with representatives of the older generation. In his speech, he expressed gratitude to the active pensioners of the district for their participation in public life, and called on veterans to maintain an active civic position and take part in events aimed at strengthening continuity between generations and developing the veterans' movement.
The meeting took the form of an open dialogue. Participants actively asked questions, exchanged views, and made proposals on current social issues.
At the end of the event, those present were given informational materials and commemorative notebooks, and exhaustive answers were provided to all inquiries.
