Information on the Holding of the District Reporting and Election Conference

On 11 March 2026, the XIII District Conference of the Council of Veterans was held in the Zhetysu District. It was attended by 89 elected delegates.

Also taking part in the event were the Chairman of the Almaty City Council of Veterans, A.Kh. Bizhanov; the Akim of the Zhetysu District, L.A. Zhylkybaeva; and Hero of the Soviet Union and member of the City Council of Veterans N.I. Kremenish.

During the meeting, the report on the work done by the district Council of Veterans was heard. Participants discussed the main tasks and plans of activity for the coming period. Following the conference, T.M. Shakirova was elected Chairwoman of the district Council of Veterans, and B.I. Slanova Deputy Chairwoman.

Particular attention was paid to the development of the veterans' movement, the strengthening of continuity between generations, and the active participation of veterans in the public life of the district. The event was held in a constructive and businesslike atmosphere.
