On 11 February 2026, a city seminar was held on the preparation and conduct of the district and city reporting and election conferences. The event was organized by the Almaty City Council of Veterans together with the city commission for organizational and methodological work. The seminar was aimed at developing a unified approach to conducting the reporting and election campaign and coordinating the activities of the district councils of veterans.
The seminar was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Almaty City Council of Veterans S.Sh. Kurmangaliev, the Chairman of the city commission S.Sh. Akhmedov, the chairmen and deputy chairmen of the district councils of veterans, and the chairmen of the district commissions for organizational and methodological work.
During the seminar, organizational and procedural issues and the election of governing bodies were examined in detail. The participants were given methodological explanations and practical recommendations. The seminar took place in a businesslike and constructive atmosphere. The questions raised during the discussion received comprehensive consideration and well-founded answers, which will contribute to the high-quality and well-organized preparation of the upcoming conferences.
