On 28 May 2026, a meeting with pensioners was held at the Active Longevity Centre of the Turksib District to familiarize them with the current forms of state support.
The speakers at the event were Nurkasym Moldasanovich Tokmoldayev, Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of the Almaty City Council of Veterans; Galiya Askarovna Baygutdinova, Chairwoman of the Turksib District Council of Veterans; and Kulyash Kalmakhanovna Adilbekova, chief inspector of the district Department of Employment and Social Programmes.
During the meeting, the participants were given detailed information on social support measures, pension provision, the benefits available and social services. The event was attended by 20 service recipients of the Pension-Age Centre.
After the speakers’ presentations, the participants asked questions on the topics discussed. Detailed and comprehensive answers were given to all enquiries.
The event took the form of an open dialogue and lively exchange. At the end of the meeting, the participants were given folders, notebooks, pens and information materials, and a survey was conducted to obtain feedback on the event.
Following the meeting, all those present were provided with the necessary consultations and explanations on the questions raised.
