On 23 June 2026, a meeting of the Presidium of the district Council of Veterans was held. During the meeting, topical issues in the activities of the veterans’ organization were considered and further areas of work were defined.
M. T. Karkenov, Chairman of the Nauryzbay District Council of Veterans, informed the participants of the meeting about the outcomes of the regular 11th Congress of the Republican Public Association “Organization of Veterans”, held in the city of Astana.
The meeting also considered the selection of participants for the district and city stages of the “Honoured Family” competition.
S. A. Akhmetova, Deputy Chairwoman of the district Council of Veterans, presented information on the events held in the district as part of the celebration of the 81st anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. Events aimed at preserving historical memory, the patriotic education of young people and supporting representatives of the older generation were highlighted.
Following the meeting, further tasks were defined and the relevant decisions on the issues considered were adopted.
