On 12 March 2026, the XIII Reporting and Election Conference of the Council of Veterans of the Alatau District was held.
The conference was attended by Deputy Akim of the Alatau District B.E. Sabitov; Executive Secretary of the Almaty City Council of Veterans N.M. Tokmoldaev; members of the activists of the district Council of Veterans; chairmen of standing commissions; and others. The total number of participants was 123.
The conference participants were presented with the following items for consideration: hearing the report of the Chairman of the district Council of Veterans, forming a new composition of the Council of Veterans, and electing delegates to the city conference.
Following the conference, S.U. Taubaldy was elected Chairman of the district Council of Veterans, and K.N. Akhman Deputy Chairman.
In conclusion, N.M. Tokmoldaev spoke, congratulating the new Council of Veterans on its election, wishing it successful and fruitful work, and noting the importance of the further development of the veterans' movement.
The conference noted that the Council of Veterans intends to continue taking an active part in the public life of the district, to help strengthen continuity between generations, and to continue its work to preserve and promote national values.
