On 17 March 2026, the XIII Reporting and Election Conference of the Council of Veterans of the Nauryzbay District was held. The conference was attended by the Chairman of the Almaty City Council of Veterans, A.Kh. Bizhanov; the Akim of the Nauryzbay District, N.A. Togyzbaeva; Deputy Akim A.S. Bekzhanova; the Chairman of the “AMANAT” Party, M. Baimurat; and a member of the Council of Veterans, police colonel A.Sh. Shopshekbaeva. The total number of participants was 58.
The conference participants heard the report of the Chairman of the district Council of Veterans, M.T. Karkenov, formed a new composition of the Council of Veterans, and elected delegates to the city conference.
In her speech, the Akim of the district expressed appreciation to the representatives of the older generation, emphasizing that their many years of labor, life experience, and active civic position serve as a worthy example for young people. Speeches were also given by B.M. Zhambylov, Chairman of the “AMANAT” Party in the Nauryzbay District; Executive Secretary S.A. Akhmetova; G.S. Ayupov, Chairman of “Zheltoksan Aqiqaty”; F. Myrzakhanova, Chairwoman of the council of mothers of “Ardagerler Uyymy”; and M.A. Omarov, Chairman of “Ardagerler Uyymy.”
The closing remarks were delivered by the Chairman of the Almaty City Council of Veterans, A.Kh. Bizhanov. He congratulated the new Council of Veterans on its election, wished it successful and fruitful work, and noted the importance of the further development of the veterans' movement.
The conference noted that the Council of Veterans will continue to take an active part in the public life of the district, help strengthen continuity between generations, and continue its work to preserve and promote national values.
