On 1 July 2026, a Zoom conference was held, organized by the Republican Public Association “Organization of Veterans”. It was attended by representatives of veterans’ organizations of the cities of republican significance — Astana, Almaty and Shymkent — as well as of all regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the conference, the participants discussed the project “Continuity of Generations and National Values”, as well as the contribution of the veterans’ community to the implementation of the Head of State’s initiatives “Fair Kazakhstan” and “Honest Citizen”.
The project includes seven priority areas and received the unanimous support of the conference participants. Following the discussion, it was decided to consider the project in primary veterans’ organizations for further discussion and implementation:
“1. Respect for elders – a national tradition;
2. “Into the Future with a Book” (the Head of State’s initiative to promote reading);
3. “The Golden Horde” – historical consciousness and the legacy of our ancestors;
4. Promoting family values and the problem of divorce;
5. Traditional religion and national identity (no place for destructive movements);
6. Raising young people: an honest person, love of nature and constructive patriotism;
7. Combating harmful habits (gambling).
